Welp, arrived in Kamloops. We managed to snag the last room at The Maverick Motor Inn, we got a two bedroom suite, with a full kitchen, two TVs (one in the kitchen/livingroom, and one in the master bedroom) for a reasonable price.

Even better, it has a swimming pool with waterslide, much to the delight of the girls. Having spent a good 15 minutes in the pool, they’re back, decided that the mall has far more appeal. Damn kids.

We’ve got a few hours to kill between now at the party, Lori is having a nap, I’m enjoying the unreliability that is the hotel’s internet connection, and the girls are walking out the door as I type this. We still need a card, and a lint roller, but otherwise we’re more or less set.

Oh, and did I mention the amazing view from the balcony?
